Farm Fresh Eggs

Enjoy farm-fresh unwashed "counter top" eggs from the Happiest Hens in Alabama. Our heirloom and heritage breeds lay eggs in a stunning variety of colors and range from medium size to extra-large. Each dozen is hand filled to ensure a variety of colors. Hand collected by our kids daily. 
 
Unwashed eggs have a protective layer called a cuticle (also referred to as the bloom) and can be stored on the counter. Unwashed, room temperature eggs should keep for about two weeks. If you aren't planning to eat your eggs for a while, we recommend refrigerating them. The cooler temperatures increase the shelf life, with eggs keeping for up to three months in the refrigerator.
